Since 2017, I’ve been part of many fanzine projects as a moderator (usually as a graphic designer) or a contributor (usually as a writer).

Book Design • For-profit fan project
Created with InDesign, Photoshop
This fan project was about Haruichi Furudate’s Haikyuu!! animanga series, focused on the character Tsukishima Kei. It comprised of one printed fanbook and merchandise, as well as a digital only side-zine. All profits were distributed between contributors.
I was the book designer on the project, supporting four co-mods. We worked with a collective of 50 contributors!

Moonrise was the main zine and central focus of the project. It followed the theme of “growth”.

In addition to Moonrise, this project also had a digital side zine about Tsukishima in different relationships called Love Letters. Since the main zine contained gen/non-romantic content, this side zine gave contributors an opportunity to create works featuring their favourite Tsukishima ships. Love Letters includes nine illustrations and five fanfictions completely separate from the main zine and was purposefully designed to be mobile friendly.

HQ!! Magazine no.1 (2020)
This fan project is about Haruichi Furudate’s Haikyuu!! animanga series, focused on various teams from the story. Called Match Point Magazine, the zine is meant to emulate real sports magazines (e.g. Sports Illustration). The first issue comprised of one fanbook and merchandise, with all profits distributed between contributors.
