Bridging Gaps: Accessing Special Needs Education Supports in the Community, 2016

Book/Print Design • Commission
Created with InDesign, Illustrator. Printed on cardstock and saddle stitched by printer.

  • Service listing for educational supports specifically for children with disabilities
  • Created all digital deliverables necessary for print and digital distribution (i.e. relevant Adobe files, images, and PDF copies)

The community-oriented organization, Malvern Family Resource Centre (MFRC), gave me the amazing opportunity to help create an extensive service listing for them to distribute. The listing and other content was compiled by an MFRC coordinator, but I was given full design control. The design was required to be accessible as possible for the visually impaired and ready for translation across multiple languages, while being aesthetically pleasing. I worked as the design lead, layout and editorial designer, and illustrator.
